Utah Court of Appeals Judge Gregory Keith Orme will appear on the Tuesday, Nov. 3, general election ballot for a retention vote.
Cottonwood Heights and Holladay voters will see the retention question on their ballots. The race is nonpartisan. Retention elections ask voters a single question: should the judge remain on the bench?
Gov. Norman H. Bangerter appointed Orme to the Utah Court of Appeals in January 1987, when the court was first established, according to the Utah Courts judicial biography. That made him one of the court's original members.
