Olympus 34, Viewmont 21
The Titans scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter to take control. Easton Zito broke a 27-yard touchdown run during the surge, and Henry O'Neil added a 25-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to seal it.
First-year head coach Casey Evans, an Olympus alum hired in January, has the Titans on a two-game winning streak and in third place in Region 6. His roster includes senior linebacker Sam Ngata, the No. 13 recruit in Utah and an Oregon commit. Evans told The Salt Lake Tribune on Oct. 2 that Ngata is "just the best player on the field … He's smart, he does his job and he sacrifices."
Olympus hosts Woods Cross on Thursday, Oct. 8, and Bountiful on Wednesday, Oct. 14, to close the regular season.
Skyline 49, East 12

Brighton built a 35-22 advantage in the third quarter after Griffin Matsumori found Easton Gustafson for a 26-yard touchdown. Woods Cross answered with two quick scores and never trailed again. Wildcats quarterback Tage Ita threw four touchdown passes in the game.
The loss is the latest blow for first-year head coach Josh Montzingo, who arrived after a decade at Park City. Matsumori and Gustafson have been Brighton's most productive players all season. In the Week 7 loss to Olympus on Sept. 25, Matsumori threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns while Gustafson caught passes for 183 yards and a score, according to MaxPreps.
